A selection of the attractions that Roßtal has to offer:
- the hall church St. Laurentius with its choir representing different style epochs Romanic, Gothic, Baroque. The church was first mentioned in official records in 1314. Countess Irmingard of Hammerstein who died in 1041 is considered to be the founder of the church. Her raised tomb in the church which had several times been heavily damaged by fire (the last fire occurring on Laurentius Day in 1627) served as a place of pilgrimage.
- the 5 nave Romanic hall crypt below the Laurentius Church is Roßtal's most important attraction from the first half of the 11th century.
- the church courtyard fortified by a wall has its picturesque gate tower from 1494. Within the walls you will also find the following attractions: the allemande exposed-timber rectory dating back to the 14th century, the current "Altes Rathaus" (the old town hall) from the year 1621 bearing a facade in the style of the 19th century, as well as the old church barn with its convexed roof.
- the market square with its exposed-timber houses in the style of the 18th century.
- old draw-well houses: on the market square and close to the rectory.
